There’s something very special about Niagara Falls. The fascination may be the continuous thunderous roar of water, the sheer volume of water and size of the falls, the fine mist that sprinkles down on you, the beautiful surroundings, or just the feeling of being alive as you are in the presence of something truly amazing.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have visited the falls on a handful of occasions through different seasons and weather conditions. I don’t remember a time I haven’t left in complete awe of the power and beauty of the falls.

This was the case again last Sunday. It was a very, very grey/gray (depending which continent you are from) day and the winterised surroundings of the falls were breathtaking.

I highly recommend that you don’t leave Niagara Falls on your wish list… just get there! Click on any photo below to view the gallery. Enjoy!

Belated reply but thanks! I find that Niagara Falls is one of the most fascinating places I’ve been to because it’s so very different every single time I visit. Regardless of the season you get a new experience, and whenever I’m in the region I make an effort to visit the falls… I’ve never been disappointed 🙂

Love your blog, it’s very pure and endearing… happy living! 🙂
